Last night when I got done work I went straight to the Capital Theatre to catch the show at the backstage that Leon House was promoting and playing during band setup time. It was a cool show. There were somethin like 50 or more high school age looking folks singing along with Leon - they all know the words to his songs! I was like Wow, that's Awesome! Plus he was wearing a really nice tripped out tie-die with all four beatles on it. I enjoyed the bands a lot too. I think I missed tracing8 and ginger vitus, but I'm not sure which band was which. There was a lot of thrash dancing and people were definitely having a good time. A band that's a married couple from Seattle played guitar and percussion with some great harmonies and amusing lyrics about science and syphilis and stuff. The band before them rocked too. I was really hungry 'cause I hadn't had any dinner, so I stepped out for pizza at Old School, which took forever for them to get my slice hot, so I had a beer, and then after eating decided to go check for my buds over at McCoy's, and they convinced me to have a beer there, and then we decided to go to the show, but we got somehow pulled into the EastSide - after a little bit I was like "We should go back to the show" and they were like "Dude, the shows over" and I was all "D'oh!". Anyhow, I enjoyed what I caught. Peace.
