OlyMusic Experiences

Coupla nights of good music. Last night, went to the Brotherhood and caught the Tune Stranglers. Really good stuff. Swing-danceable old timey fiddlin banjo washboard upright bass coupla guitars just great singing and atmosphere. Wonderful show. Definitely will go back for more, since they do every Monday night there. They also have a show coming up at the Capitol Theatre. The night before, caught some bands at the end of the YEAH fest, over at the Eagles hall. Great building. Heard the duo Sedan, a drums and keyboard duo with remarkable technical ability and wonderful feeling to their music. Got one of their CDs. Hypnotically soothing while parts of it had me tapping my foot a bit. Also heard The Strangers and had a rollicking good time dancing to their turkish reel sounding jumps me up and down when I feel the music music. Good good stuff. And what someone told me was the last Bangs show ever. Had a good time dancing to their music too.
