Went to the All-Star Open Mic at TugBoat Annie's Last night. And today is my birthday!
Some of the best musicians in town were there! It was great! When I got there a guy was signing Pearl Jam songs, and sounding a lot like Eddie Vedder. I didn't see who he was though, cause he was finished as I got my first beer. Then Jim Waszick rocked, and then Ccera Impala w/Amanda, and some Sour Owl with a terrific lineup of musicians, and of course Skylar, and Humble Smile, and a really funky excellent sounding bunch that I didn't catch the name of, but a couple of the guys are Scott and Mark, and it would be a pity if I were to forget Mudcat and Skip, those guys got me drumming on the table, and on beer glasses and an ashtray with the pen I borrowed from Diane.
