World Sacred Music Festival and Leonardo Da Vinci

From 5:00p -9:00p on Feb 4th, I attended The 2007 World Sacred Music Festival: a celebration of the sacred
through the uplifting music & dance of the world at The Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts at South Puget Sound Community College. It was truly amazing. More info on all the artists, and sound clips are available at http://www.olysacredmusic.org/
I purchased 3 cd's:
*** Gansango music & dance presents Ji ***
*** NABY Camara L'union fait la force ***
*** KANE MATHIS & RUSTY KNORR KORA AND PERCUSSION ***

These 3 cd's have been in my 5 disc player with The Blackberry Bushes, and Head for the Hills Bluegrass, ever since I got back from the show, on random. Good times!

Last night I went to PETER DONALDSON's The Life and Times of Leonardo da Vinci at
the STATE THEATER, OLYMPIA. The show is truly amazing. It is also playing tonight and tomorrow, Saturday, is the last night. Go to this show if you can, if you have any interest in history, the Renaissance, the New Renaissance and/or Leonardo da Vinci. It is amazing, and so is the music.

Sunday at 2PM at the theater, Peter Donaldson, and local great minds will be facilitating a discussion on the new renaissance. I plan to be there. I believe it will be free to attend, and amazing.

I love Olympia!
